Terms of Service

Last updated August 29, 2026

These terms cover your use of Giant Mind, a knowledge and memory service operated by Giant Mind ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Giant Mind.

1. Your account

You need an account to save memories. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old. If you use Giant Mind for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.

2. What you put into Giant Mind

You keep ownership of everything you import or save. We call this your content. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, process it so it can be searched and connected, generate answers for you, and share it with the people you authorize. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to train models for other customers.

You are responsible for having the right to import what you import. Do not put content into Giant Mind that you are not allowed to copy, store, or share.

3. Connected sources

You choose which sources to connect, such as mail, calendar, documents, and note apps. Connecting a source authorizes Giant Mind to read from it on your behalf. You can disconnect a source at any time from your settings. When you disconnect, we stop reading from it. Memories you already saved remain saved until you delete them, and memories committed to permanent storage cannot be recalled from it.

4. Permanent storage on Arweave

Giant Mind lets you commit a memory to Arweave, a public network designed to store data permanently. Read this section carefully, because permanence is real:

Committing is an explicit choice you make per memory. Nothing is committed automatically.
Data written to Arweave is encrypted before it leaves us, and it cannot be deleted, edited, or recalled by you, by us, or by anyone else.
Deleting a committed memory in Giant Mind removes it from your account and destroys the keys we hold for it. The encrypted record itself remains on the network permanently.
Editing a committed memory creates a new version. Earlier versions stay readable to you and to anyone you authorized for them.

Do not commit anything you may need erased later, including content subject to deletion obligations you cannot control.

5. Sharing and teams

You control who can see each memory. When you share with a person or a team, you are authorizing them to read it, and you cannot unsee what has already been read. Removing access stops future access. If your team account is administered by an organization, that organization may set sharing rules and may control memories saved in team spaces.

6. Answers and accuracy

Giant Mind generates answers from your own content and shows the memories behind them so you can check the work. Answers can still be incomplete or wrong. Giant Mind is a tool to help you think, not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. Check the sources before you rely on an answer.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Giant Mind to break the law, to store or distribute unlawful material, to infringe someone else's rights, to attack or probe our systems, to resell the service, or to build a competing model from our outputs. We may suspend accounts that do.

8. Plans and payment

Paid plans renew on the cycle you choose until cancelled. Fees are charged in advance and are not refundable except where required by law. Committing memories to permanent storage may carry a separate one time cost, shown to you before you confirm. We will give notice before changing prices, and a price change never affects memories already committed.

9. Cancelling and export

You can cancel at any time and export your memories in a standard format. If you cancel, we keep your account data for a limited wind down period so you can come back or export, then delete it. Committed records on Arweave are unaffected, as described in section 4.

10. Service changes and availability

We improve Giant Mind continuously and may change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what you paid for, we will tell you. We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service. Early access features may be unstable and are provided as is.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Giant Mind is provided without warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data beyond what the law requires.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will notify you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Giant Mind after that means you accept the new terms.
